What to do on your month:
Check water troughs and any bath tubs being used daily for birds and other animals. Empty and clean bath tubs weekly. Cement troughs are to have their sides cleaned and checked for leaks once a month. A stick or lattice is to be left in tubs so birds can get out instead of drowning and rotting the water. Emptying of the concrete tubs should occur quarterly.
Rubbish bins are to be put out on the curb on Wednesday afternoons and brought in on Thursday afternoons. There is a $100 fine per bin, if left out for more than 48 hours by Council and the club will pass any fines onto the rostered family responsible..
Manure bags are to be put out for sale once a week in consultation with the Manure Officer.
Grounds maintenance (mowing, whipper snipping, weedspraying, etc) for a minimum of 2hrs, where ever most needed, is to be completed and advice given to a Groundsman on what was done. If anyone is unsure of what to do please check with a Groundsman. Note the ride-on mower (Big Red) takes regular 91 fuel and after use the mower must be refilled and the fuel container left a minimum of 1/2 full.
