Fundraising for HPC

Fundraising for the club helps raise money to assist with the purchase of new equipment and aids for riders.  It also supports ongoing equipment and grounds maintenance, servicing and upgrades.

Please support fundraising events as it is for all members' benefit.

Roadside Manure Sales

The roadside sale of manure is a significant fundraiser for the club. Agisting members participation is vital to the continuing success of this income stream and the monthly roster (as outlined under Members Agistment) ensures all families have a role in managing this activity.

Containers for Change

The Qld Government's Containers for Change recycling program is a small alternative fundraiser for the club that everyone can get involved with. The program provides worthwhile additional funds. Our client number is: C10074574.

Greg Grant Saddlery

"Affiliate Program"

The Greg Grant Saddlery “Affiliate Program” is an excellent opportunity for fundraising. A percentage of all sales registered against the Hendra Pony Club comes back to the club.  If purchasing at Greg Grant be sure to mention Hendra Pony Club.

HPC Sponsors

We are extremely grateful to both our past and present sponsors who have so generously sponsored our club over many years.  A special mention to the following:

We are very thankful for the volunteer work done by Mamet Homes (originally known as Eco Building Services) with many projects and activities at our club over many years. Thank you Adrian and Fiona for your ongoing support, trophy and ribbon sponsorship and the many hours donated towards an endless array of maintenance jobs and building works.

General Taxation Services is a well-established, community-based accounting firm located in Banyo, on Brisbane's northside, delivering prompt and quality driven service in meeting their clients' accounting, taxation, compliance and business needs. They offer a personalised, hands-on approach that differentiates their service from other accounting firms. We are extremely grateful for their sponsorship of events, ribbons and trophies. We can't recommend Graham and his team enough for all your general taxation queries.

Thanks to sponsorship from Queensland Off-The-Track (QOTT), we are able to provide prizes for Best Performed Off-The-Track and Reserve Best Performed Off-The-Track horses at our events.

QOTT's vision is to:

• Support the visibility of Off-The-Track horses in their post-racing careers.

• Drive demand for Off-The-Track Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds.

• Support the longevity of retired Off-The-Track horses in their new homes.

• Create awareness of Off-The-Track horses and their life after racing; and

• Promote the importance of QOTT animal care programs and initiatives.

Hendra Pony Club has qualified for all Tiers of Sponsorship available from QOTT: Bronze, Silver and Gold ($1,000, $2,000 & $5,000) for assistance with the costs of running events. These funds have ensured the financial success of the events and the sponsorship has highlighted the large number of OTT's actually out and about in Pony Club. We are very grateful for the ongoing support offered by Queensland Off-The-Track.

It was with a great deal of pleasure that we were advised that CLA had been successful with their application for funding via the Qld State Governments "Skilling Queenlanders for Work program" in 2015-2016 and again in 2016-2017 and 2018-2019 and 2020-2022, and most recently 2023-2026 (a three year funding commitment). Managed by NCEC, work is mainly focused on rejuvenating our gully, mowing/whipper snipping and garden maintenance, along with a small number of construction activities. Over the initial eight years of this program over 100 local disadvantaged people have been offered training-based employment and the chance to obtain Cert I and/or II in Horticulture. To date close to $1million has been awarded for the program on our grounds and we are delighted with the work that has been achieved in Pound Drain gully, and our new clubhouse gardens, toilet privacy screens/garden & ramp, and the seating around our Memorial Tree, as well as weed control, general mowing/slashing, mulching and pruning across our grounds.
